There are currently no trainings scheduled. Please contact your local project lead or MFF SNAP-Ed Project Manager to request a training.
The PE-Nut training is designed for those who are new to PE-Nut or those who would like a refresher. At this training you will get hands-on experience using the Healthy Classrooms, Healthy Schools K–2 and 3–5 classroom units. HCHS will help you transform classrooms (and schools) into places where students learn and practice healthy eating and physical activity habits. You will also learn the ins and outs of Fit Bits, Health Through Literacy, take home materials and more. Register by clicking on the date above.
If you are traveling from a distance and require a hotel room, please contact Pamela Bartig at email@example.com or 517-908-3860. She will provide you with hotel information so you can make your own reservation. You will need to provide a credit card to reserve your room. When you check in, your room charge (not incidentals) will be moved to the MFF Master Bill. If you are a “no show” for your room, your credit card will be charged and this expense cannot be reimbursed through SNAP-Ed. If you choose to stay at an alternate hotel, your organization may be reimbursed through SNAP-Ed for up to $75/room plus applicable taxes.
Michigan Fitness Foundation SNAP-Ed trainings welcome participants from MFF Partners, projects, and others who work in SNAP-Ed. If you require a reasonable accommodation to participate in training (in-person, online, etc.), please contact Mary Moomaw at (517) 908-3846 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
